Therapy Options For Kids Experiencing Past Life Regression

There are many documented reports of young children that have experienced past life regression. Parents oftentimes do not know what to do in such instances and ultimately seek therapy for their children. Past life therapy for young children consists of helping the child cope with memories that may be well beyond their years and level of understanding.

Parents of children that are experiencing past life memories are oftentimes at a lost for what to do. They do not have the skills or tools necessary to help their child. At first, the problem is hard to detect. But when the stories become so vivid and detailed of past life experiences then they know it is something greater than a child's ability to be imaginative.

Children may have difficulties dealing with their unique condition. This may result in negative shifts in their behavior. Their grades may be negatively affected. They may even start having trouble at home. When these sort of changes occur, therapy is recommended.

Therapy is widely recommended for parents that have children that have past life memories. Every child reacts differently. Some may become withdrawn, their behavior and grades in school may decline. They may even start demonstrating disruptive behavioral patterns within the home. Therapy is the best option when this occurs.

Other problems may occur such as physical sickness, anger management issues, nightmares and in some cases bedwetting. It becomes very important to explain to the child that nothing is wrong with them and to encourage them with specific coping mechanisms. Oftentimes, there is a connection that aides in the healing process.

Children have similar treatments to adults that experience past life memories. But therapist tend to make the sessions a bit more creative to hold the attention of young children. For example, they may be asked to tell stories about their past experiences as though they were a character in a book. This is done to hold the child's attention and the make them feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible.

During therapy sessions, children may be asked to draw pictures of their experience. Therapist try to make the children as comfortable as possible before delving into the details of their past life memories. Therapy may involve children being asked to recall vivid details of a regression event and put it into the form of a story or fairy tale.

Very young children that experience past life regression may be asked to draw pictures of their experiences. Young children tend to be very receptive and open to discussing what they go through in past life memories. Therapist may also use what is called the kinesiologic muscle test. During such a test, the child is asked to recall their subconscious memory and their physical body will answer the question. So the therapist may ask the child what the child's foot or arm felt like or what it was doing in a past life experience. The children usually find this to be a fun and creative part of therapy making it easier for them to talk about what they go through.

Other therapeutic methods such as visualization are also used. Visualization helps to calm the child's anxieties prior to entering a past life regression. A child may be asked to visualize floating on a cloud. Anything that may help the child to feel relaxed and at peace. Therapy has proven to be an effective tool to help children cope with past life experiences.
