With movie characters so full of life and energy how could they possibly leave out a bridal shower for their key princesses? I suppose this is not something that children see, or rather don't see in these films. This is because as we grow older we tend to pay closer attention to the truths in film. I can honestly not think of one single children's film that has a wedding in it, that actually shows a bridal shower or even mentions one.

Surely if the old philosophy "life imitates art" is true then they should defiantly include something as simple as a bridal shower. I personally can not imagine how something as simple and yet monumental as a bridal shower, was completely left out by the greatest movie makers in all of history. As a child however, I simply did not pay attention to the detail, which is the reason why this little fact did not bother me back then. It is not so much that it bothers me or irritates me now in my adult years, but rather it irritates me by the fact that a company so akin to detail, overlooks and disregards an important one when it comes to fairy tale weddings.

It is not just the bridal showers which they missed. How many films from your childhood that had weddings in them also had bachelor parties in them? I'll tell you how many, absolutely none! The closest any of us as children ever got to see to bridal or bachelor parties, was in the old Popeye cartoons. Yup that's right, do you remember Olive being showered with gifts in the episode where Popeye proposed to her? Or how about in that same episode Popeye goes to a boxing match with his friends. These are not actually bachelor or bridal parties and showers; however they are as close as we ever got to seeing them as children.

5. Don't spend too much time at the Auction House gearing up your toon. This is time consuming and gold consuming. The green gear from quests is good enough to get you by as you level up your toon, so go to AH only from 10 to 10 levels.

Youll find that after using this technique for a while, youll be able to replay a recent dream; except this time, youll be in control.

Tame monsters in your nightmares, 'visit' any location you wish, explore imagined worlds that you envision within your own mind, speak to anyone you like, and basically be free of all worldly constraints and limits. With dream control, all of this is possible, in essence, giving us the power to be the ruler of our own nightly fantasy worlds where we are in complete control of everything that transpires.

However, there can be too much of the good thing which is lucid dreaming. Dreams can tell us important things, according to psychologists. Like hundreds of other plant lovers, spend many happy days in their flower garden. But, always when the last chrysanthemum had been cut down by killing frost there was the dreary time, between late fall and spring, when all growing things were withered and no flower bloomed.

After one of these ruthless frosts, which snuffed all color from the world and made it sad, Mrs. Preston decided to build a winter window garden in her home.

Since then she has had twelve months of color. A scarlet amaryllis, almost hidden by the foliage of an Easter lily, glows in the window. A novelty in gloxinias, called Lady Slipper, blooms year after year in the same pot with only a short rest period between flowering. Several potted geraniums bloom in their sea son and two of them (Nutmeg and Rose) have fragrant, spicy leaves which add greatly to their desirability and lend an interest even when the plants are no longer in bloom.

A Gloriosa lily, with strange flowers, has climbed 6 feet to the top of the window to crown it with its gold and crimson beauty. There are orchids, some of which bloom during the winter holidays to furnish corsages for friends.

"I used to grow gardenias in my window," says Mrs. Preston. "Now I have something new. It's called Fleur d'Amour. It looks like a gardenia, doesn't it?" she said, pointing to a plant with shining leaves and white gardenia-like flowers. "It has a gardenia-like fragrance, too, that I find captivating."

The most prized plants in Mrs. Preston's winter garden, however, are her African violets. It would be difficult for anyone to find a more colorful collection. Some are the usual ones bought at nurseries but quite a number are those Mrs. Preston has raised from seed.

One of her seedlings, grown-up, was mentioned in a magazine that gave the plant special mention for being outstanding in foliage and bicolored blossoms. Many of the other violets were also grown from seed. On the second shelf, near the curtain, is one of several doubles. There are also a number of singles, red, pink and white.

The window garden faces the east and south. It affords abundant light all day. The rack on which the violet plants on the right are seen was constructed so as to give perfect drainage. Underneath the rack is a galvanized iron, water-tight pan filled with cinders. It absorbs any surplus water accidentally spilled in watering. This pan is always moist and so acts as a humidifier to offset the too dry atmosphere frequently found in our modern homes.

- Remember to always use a clean vase with ample space, and use clear water every day. Once the flower food solution or water becomes cloudy, replace it all immediately.

- If floral foam is unavailable, you can make your own makeshift flower freshener. Simply mix a teaspoon of bleach, a tablespoon of sugar, and a gallon of water. Mix well and you have flower food. If these ingredients are unavailable, try mixing a 12-ounce can of clear, non-diet soda (like Sprite or 7-Up) with half a gallon of water. The acid in the soda will slow bacteria growth in the water, while the sugar will "feed" the flowers.

- Re-cut your flower stems at a 45-degree angle using a sharp cutting tool, such as a sharp knife, good pair of scissors, or pruning shears. Cut the stems underwater to allow more water absorption instead of air. A 45-degree angle stem cut can also improve the plants' liquid absorption.

- Some flowers actually last longer than others in the bouquet. Once they wilt, take them out of the vase.

- Remove leaves that will be under the vase's waterline, because leaves in water tend to promote bacterial growth.
