Over The Counter Bulletin Board: How To Have Investors Begging To Invest!

By James Scott

Take Your Company Public: Have Investors Begging To Invest! As the economy worsens and banks continue to crash and the US dollar is losing its place as the world currency American entrepreneurs need alternative funding solutions that cater to ongoing capital needs that take advantage of the international finance stage as opposed to domestic institutional lenders.

Many companies, for the first time, are considering going public as a viable option but where does one start on this trek? How much does it cost? What type of lawyer and consultants do I need? Who sells my stock? Etc.

The reality is, going public is fairly straight forward if you have a product or service that lends itself to an invest-able option to global financiers. The process of a start-up or small/medium size business going public usually begins with the basic business plan (50 to 100+ pages in length) and a Private Placement Memorandum (Regulation D Rule Exemptions 504, 505 or 506).

The company would then do an initial round of funding with accredited investors with a mini/maxi built into the offering circular that makes it possible to reach a simple benchmark that would allow the company to start using the investment cash for growth via public offering using OTCBB (over the counter bulletin boards); this is the quickest and cheapest way to go public being that 99.9% of companies don't have the liquidity and time in business to qualify for an IPO. There are several things that a company can do to make your capital raise a pleasure and not a nightmare. Start with a solid market maker that will commit to putting forth a dominating effort to sell your shares. The next thing you need to do is put a face and a voice to the company. Hire a publicist and pick an executive, usually the CEO or CFO, set up, daily interviews on radio and TV to promote the company and as you do this you will begin to see instant results. Another thing is to send out articles and press releases focusing on every single positive point, contract and strategic partners, feed that publicity machine. Branding is another powerful aspect to raising capital. Make your brand and image something that people see on online and in magazines. A solid publicist will do wonders for you. Get your press releases going on the wire to broker dealers and market makers and other stock promoters.

Fund raising has been complicated by unethical companies that are looking to create capitalization angles for themselves whether they are the business raising capital or the broker dealer buying and selling their stock. Done honestly, there is no reason a company with a viable business concept can't be successful in raising capital quickly and easily being sold on the public market.

Gardening Tips And Advice For Beginners

By Pat Lowe

It really is amazing how many people you will find who can pick up gardening right away. And then there are those that have a lot of difficulty with it. Actually, it just boils down to information. You can't just walk out to a spot in the yard, dig around and then sow some seeds. Even though that is the fundamental idea behind gardening there is much more to it. You must know what kind of soil you have, the kinds of plants that are most appropriate for your area and even when to plant. It might be tricky, however, with some good gardening tips everybody can enjoy a luxuriant and fruitful garden. Keep reading for the answers to some of your questions.

What should I plant in my garden? Well, first you need to determine what type of garden you wish to grow. Some people like flower gardens since they are very ornamental and can improve the look of their property. Some like container gardens because they lack ground space and of course some prefer the big vegetable gardens. There is nothing to prevent you from doing all three types. All have their own advantages and all will definitely help sharpen your gardening skills. If you are a beginner it is good to start small and then work your way up from there. There is no need to till up and acre of land if you have no idea how to grow vegetables. But if you start with a small patch then it is much easier to learn as you go along. The same goes for your flower beds. Some great growing plants that are easy for anyone to grow are: tomatoes, lettuce, onions, mums, daffodils and some ornamental grasses.

How can I garden organically? In order for you to garden organically you first must learn what organic gardening actually is. It is a style of gardening that involves no pesticides or chemicals. You learn to use nature's own pesticides and chemicals to keep your plants healthy and strong. Nature is very good at providing exactly what a garden needs without risking man-made chemicals and pesticides. One good tip is to have Ladybugs around your garden. Those dainty, red bugs actually are voracious protectors of your plants and will eat a wide variety of pests. Another tip for keeping your garden safe is to use essential oils. Most bugs and diseases will not be able to be near plants coated with lemon oil or lavender. The best advice is to pick up an organic gardening book. It will have ways you can make your own fertilizer and compost as well as tips on taking care of your garden after the plants or flowers have been harvested.

Are there any websites that offer gardening tips? The internet is full of websites offering all sorts of gardening tips. A basic search will reveal page after page. But you can find some sites that stand out in the crowd. One such site is www.helpfulgardener.com, where you can get tips and suggestions for all types of gardens. Another site you may wish to take a look at is www.weekendgardener.net. If you are searching for garden designs and could do with a little help in planning your garden you may want to look at www.gardenguides.com for further advice.

Are there any books that offer advice and suggestions for gardeners? Just as there are plenty of online resources giving gardening information, so too are there many reading materials on the topic. A book that every gardener needs is the Farmer's Almanac. It is easy to get it at your neighborhood bookstore or even your local feed store. If you like to get your plants at a super center, there are a lot of books from publishers such as Better Homes & Gardens. All you will need to do is narrow down the kind of gardening you plan to do and then choose one. The majority of them are very economical.

5 Things you Need to Know About WoW and Warcraft the Movie.

By Paul Rone-Clarke

Let's take a first look at what is happening "under the hood" of the first Warcraft movie. Many of the outline details are now available, so let's see what we can expect.

Sam Raimi, the director of Evil Dead and Scream is to direct the movie. He is a keen Warcraft "follower" apparently, and is keen for the movie to keep to the lore of Warcraft. This shows how seriously this movie is being taken. Other film game tie-ins often have unknown or niche directors. Warcraft the movie is going to be a major product.

It is being written by the Robert Rodat (not Donat as reported elsewhere. Bob Donat is dead. We have said our final goodbye to Mr Chips sadly). Anyway, again a great pedigree. He wrote Saving Private Ryan, apparently after sitting and thinking on his son's eighth birthday about war (apparently his son 's birthday is 6th June - D-Day). Not sure if my 9 year old would be happy if I spent his birthday musing about the past, but in Robert's case it proved to be a good thing. Ryan is perhaps the greatest and most realistic take on war Hollywood has done in the last thirty years...

The location for most scenes is likely to be New Zealand. Again, the precedent is set with films like Lord of the Rings showing that this spectacular landscape can certainly become a realistic fantasy backdrop. It's not difficult to imagine an "Azerothian" feel.

The earliest possible release is late 2011. That's almost two years time. It is far more likely however that the film will be out in 2012. Why? Because this reviewer feels that whatever the expansion after Cataclysm is, it will be out in late 2012. My betting the two will be released together, and there will be a synergy between them. Expect Lore to be advanced and concepts inter-changed between the film and whatever the fourth expansion turns out to be.

It may come as little surprise to note that the film is being cited as an action movie rather than a quest based flick. This would seem to fit in with the choice of writer and director. Quests almost invariably require big shifts in Lore (because a quest to tidy up your bedroom and take the trash out will not pull the audience) Wars however, though bigger cinematically, do not have to have such an impact on the ongoing storyline of the source material

So far no names have been mooted for the leading role (or roles). It is unlikely that the film's producers have even got around to deciding themselves yet

Legendary Pictures (Batman Begins, 300) are behind this movie. Good news in itself. There is no shortage of experience in making top quality action movies there then! Expect this to be a top notch production.

This site is up and running again now, and we look forward to bringing you all the latest and best in Warcraft news in the coming months. See you soon.
